Thanks a lot!CR001 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2019 12:40 pmThere is no benefit or advantage of one route over the other. They both result in the same thing, ie British citizen otherwise than by descent.
If you applying online and use the new UKCVAS service to submit documents and enroll biometrics, then yes you are free to travel.
(1) Evidence of freedom from immigration time restrictions
• Your passport showing permission to remain permanently in the UK
• The Home Office letter by which you were given permission to remain
permanently in the UK
It does not indicate biometric card (I have indefinite leave to remain) among the eligible documents here. My passport does not show that I have an indefinite leave to remain obviously and I do not have the letter from the Home Office (I cannot locate it at the moment). Could you please clarify this requirement?
Did you miss the word OR between 'passport or naturalisation'??(2) Evidence of British citizenship

• The marriage certificate or civil partnership certificate.
I would like to submit my spouse's naturalisation certificate as it is a single page. But I am a bit confused by the extra sentence there "You should provide a complete and full copy of your spouse’s or civil partner’s current passport. Every page in the passport must be copied including the blank pages". Could you please confirm if I should submit both documents just in case?
