UKVCAS document upload and submit cut-off times

Hi All,

I have a UKVCAS appointment next week, and I have chosen to self-upload my documents. I was wondering if you can help with the following questions

1. Is there a cut-off period (e.g. X hours) before the appointment time, after which one cannot upload documents to UKVCAS website?

2. The website says that the option to submit documents will be available on the Document upload page until 48 hours before your appointment. If I choose not to submit the documents 48 hours before the appointment, would I still have the option to submit my application on the day of the appointment as long as my documents were uploaded before the appointment time.

Anytime before appointment

You can SELF-submit ONCE (up to 48hrs before appointment). But you can upload any documents even after self-submission and submit at the appointment again (in case any missed documents).

OR

You can upload anytime before appointment and just submit at appointment itself.

Self-submission is recommended so your documents are sent to UKVI even before biometrics and you save time.

Just to add, If you realise that you have forgot to upload a document after you attend your biometric appointment then can still upload before 10.00pm on the day of your appointment. This was the information I got it when I called UKVCAS as I forgot to upload before my appointment and only realised after given the biometrics.

I'm just sharing my experience and what I have been told by UKVCAS and I don't take any responsibility for this, so please seek legal advice from qualified immigration solicitor.
