There have been other instances of members getting the survey mail before the decision. It seems to be not linked to each other. So, not sure you can assume your application is decided.GM2021 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 11, 2021 11:51 amHi guys,
Has anyone received UKVI survey email before a decision has been made on their application? I believe that customers usually receive this UKVI survey email after the decision on their application is made. I received such emails after the decision has been made on previous visa applications. But Strangely, this time, it is not the case. I haven’t heard anything about my citizenship application yet I still received UKVI survey email. Is anyone in the same boat as me? If so, how long after the survey email you received a decision on your application?

I did AND most likely my decision was made earlier than I got to know. My application was approved in Nov 2020 (as per the date on the decision letter) but I got a ceremony invitation letter in Dec 2020 (normally these days it takes around 3 months after approval). So most likely my application was approved in Sep 2020 instead. As by the time I got my ceremony invitation in Dec 2020, no one from November approvals received it. So that confirms my decision was made in Sep 2020 (right after I went for dual submission of biometrics- at that time applications were approved right after dual submission after IDV app).GM2021 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 11, 2021 11:51 amHi guys,

Thanks for taking time to share your experience. Could you please let me know how long did it take for the home Office to reply your email? In their reply, did they tell you that a decision was made? I emailed the further nationality enquiries for which I received an automated reply stating that they will aim to reply within 20 days.CULLINAN wrote: ↑Thu Mar 11, 2021 9:09 pmI did AND most likely my decision was made earlier than I got to know. I was sent a decision letter in post only after I enquired about the UKVI survey email as I was concerned too. The decision letter was dated the same day as my email enquiry and I received in post within 4 days after it. So most likely it was printed then.
There are chances your decision is made but email is not pushed through.

PS: There were at least 3 more cases from Nov 2020 like myself in November who all were sent decision letters in post who enquired after I did.
Thanks for this Info. Hopefully I will hear about my decision soon. Fingers crossed. I really appreciate your comments here. Decision letter had a date of 10th Nov also (same day email enquiry was sent). Received approval letter on 14th Nov in post.

You will get an automated response that this is not a general inbox but it works in many cases.

Try:dapsandhugs wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 7:33 pmI have received survey email twice now. First one was a week ago and second one today. Suggesting I should take survey in response to how quick the decision on my application was. And survey ends 3rd of May.
I haven't received any approval confirmation. I noticed my biometric card changed to records not available on the prove right to work website last week and has remained the same.
Just have to wait...
