Warning letter about seized goods

Post by brad1980 » Sun Sep 28, 2014 3:25 pm

Hi All

I received a warning letter about seized goods fem Border Force yesterday as I was brining about 1.5 Kilogram of meat from a non EU country. My application for nationalisation will be in 2 months time on 12th December.
There are 2 questions regarding the requirements of good character.

First of all,do I have to declare that I have received this warning letter? the guidance booklet reads:

3.10 – 3.11 You must give details of any cautions (simple or conditional), warnings or reprimands you have received in the UK or any other country. Cautions, warnings and reprimands are out of court disposals that are recorded on a person’s criminal record and are taken in to account when assessing a person’s character.

secondly and importantly, I also received a simple caution 3.5 years ago because of a family issue with my wife which is fine now. These 2 together don't seem right to me,I really do not feel right about this Warning letter and prefer not to disclose it, but do I have to? and whether these 2 will cause any issue for me? :(

Best,
Brad

Regarding warning letter you shouldnt be worried and you dont need to declare it as it happened to me as well because this is civil matter and you just got warning in civil matter check my posts you wwill find more information

and regarding caution you have to declare it because that is police caution
