British passport - where to start?

I'm British national from birth. Wife has been in the country and is now on ILR after 5 years worth of visas (initial spouse + 2.5 year renewal).

Where do we start to get her a British passport?
We did the ILR application ourselves, any thing to note for completing the citizenship form ourselves?

Where do we start to get her a British passport?

Only a British citizen can apply for a British Passport. She is not yet British. She has to apply to naturalise as British, wait for approval, attend a ceremony and only then can she apply for a British passport.
