ByLaw offense Graduate/ Skilled worker visa

I have gotten a job offer by a company in UK, and they will be sponsoring my visa for the work. However I have recently been prosecuted for a Byelaw 17(1) of the Transport for London Railway Byelaws offense. How will this affect my visa application if I declare it? Will I still be able to obtain a visa?

Thank you for your reply. Yes I am planning to declare it for sure, I also read that on the HO website this offense is not listed as a ground for refusal of visa, but am still worried this may affect their decision, especially with the new rules and the govt trying to limit foreign workers in the UK

Really don’t worry about it, you should be perfectly fine. The main thing is the declaration as that takes any possibility of being pulled up for non declaration. Don’t overthink it

An application can only be refused for not meeting the rules. There is no refusal quota that a caseworker is trying to meet by making up their own rules.
