Hi sorry if the topic is a repost but i have gone through the website multiple times and havent found an answer
Im a Dr working for the NHS, my current BRP is expiring 18th march, my hospital has applied for my Certificate of sponsorship extension but it would take some time, also on checking dates for premium service visa renewal for UK visa there arent any available till the 25th of January . My main concern is that I have an urgent Course to attend in Greece on 8th february for a week which is very important for my career progression and it is not available till next year again, is there no option available to apply for Schengen visa from UK . I have written to Greece embassy multiple times through email but havent received any response.
Could my employers letter and proof of certificate of sponsorship not be enough proof of me coming back to UK after my course finishes??

I am sure you'll get ceritifcate before 01 feb 2018. You can apply in person on 2nd Feb 2018. BRP usually takes week to receive.
How long your course is for?

the course is for a week. I am going to get my Certificate of sponsorship (for UK visa extension) some time next week but i would have to apply for my visa extension which normally takes 2-3 weeks to process and if I apply for same day renewal (which costs around 600 pounds extra) I would get it the same day but the trouble is the same day premium renewal appointments arent available anywhere in UK till 23rd Jan due to the busy holiday period. and If i get my UK visa done by 23rd ill have to apply for schengen even if i do it the next day ill still have less time to get the visa in time for the 7th of feb (being Pakistan passport holder schengen can take 14-21 days - had similar time frame when have previously applied )

Please write in proper paragraphs so people can understand. You are putting everything in one block
So you're going on course on 8th Feb for a week and your current visa expires on 18th March. I dont understand what the issue is ! Why you want to apply before going?
You can easily apply once you're back in the UK. Just make sure the COS is assigned

Sorry for the writing was typing on my phone. Im not concerned about my UK visa, my course is in Greece for which i have to apply for Schengen visa which apparently has a requirement that i should have a valid UK visa for 90 days on return if i were to apply from UK.
My current UK visa is expiring a month after return from Greece. Is that a reason to reject my Schengen tourist visa?
I have all documents ready to extend my UK work permit visa but the extension wont be in time for my Schengen application. Thats my concern if any help.
Could the Greece embassy give an exemption if all my other documents are complete?

I am not entirely sure on that. As far as I know you need to have minimum 90 days visa remaining if you're applying from UK. You should check with Grece emabssy if any exception can be applied
