Extension of dependent visa - health and care visa

Hi

I was on health and care visa and have got ILR- will apply for naturalisation in august 2024.

My dependents - wife and son- who joined me 2 years later after i arrived in uk - their BRP is expiring on 18th august 2024.

I need to apply for their visa extension for 3 years.

Can i check when is the earliest i can apply for their extension as we have to travel out of country.
Is there a rule to apply for extension of visa within 3 months of expiry of visa or it can be applied earlier. ?

What category do i need to choose for visa extension ?

They can apply anytime before their visa expire.

The same category visa they currently hold.

This about health and care visa extention for dependents

I am applying for visa extension for my family from within UK.
They already have stayed in the UK for about 3.5 years. They need 1.5 year stay before applying for ILR.

i completed the extension application but in the end it is generating fees of 551 (5 year visa ) rather than 284 (3 year fees).

It doesnt ask anywhere in the application if i want to apply for 3 years or 5 years
Only thing i could think of is the question where it asks how much was the main applicant COS for
3 year or less
Or
3 year or more.

I selected 3 year or more as COS was for 5 year (training COS)

Do we need to selected 3 year or less in that section to generate 3 year fees ?
If anyone in the same boat ?
Do we need to pay 551 ?

Hi.. would you be able to provide a link to apply for the extension of visa. I’m in the same situation as yours and would be really helpful if you could provide a link so that I can apply for my visa extension as it expires in June. My wife has already got ILR and I need to extend my dependent visa for 2 more years.
