: Family Reunion Visa: Is Salary/Proof of Income Required?

Post by asylum777 » Mon Dec 02, 2024 1:17 pm

Hi everyone,

I am planning to apply for a family reunion visa and need some clarity regarding the requirement for wage slips or proof of income. I've come across conflicting advice:

Some immigration advisors say I need to meet a salary threshold of £30,000 a year.
Others suggest that for a family reunion application, salary or maintenance evidence is not required at all.
I’d appreciate it if anyone with personal experience in this area could share their insights. Have you or someone you know successfully applied for a family reunion visa without providing wage slips or meeting a salary threshold?

Any guidance or tips from the experts here would be incredibly helpful!

Thank you in advance.
