FIXED PENALTY NOTICE

Post by mhasan14 » Thu Dec 05, 2024 7:43 pm

Hi

I am applying for a Skilled Worker Dependent Visa. I am currently on a student visa (my studies have finished).

In the application, it asked for any convictions and other penalties.
I got a fixed penalty notice from Durham City Council for littering earlier this year and I paid the fine.

Should this be mentioned under the "Convictions and Other Penalties"?

Additionally, there is another question about "Medical Treatment in the UK". Does this include going to emergency visits for evaluation and GP as well?
I injured my head while playing football and got checked at the emergency for concussion. Should this be added to the question "Medical Treatment in the UK"

Thanks in advance for the help!

I think "Medical Treatment" refers to when you specifically came to the UK for NHS treatment (presumably they would want to check whether person paid). NHS Emergency treatment is ok and doesn't need to be disclosed AFAIK.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.

Hi,
Got it. Thank you for your reply. Would you happen to know anything about the FPN for littering as well? Does it need to be declared?

Yes. Please do mention about the FPN.
I too had that for littering. Paid the fine and mentioned it my Skilled Worker application. Had absolutely no issues. HO would want the applicant to be honest and declare it.

All the very best mate 👍
