Good for another 2.5 years, stay strong people. And if you are waiting please talk to someone, this last application made me appreciate mental well-being and taking steps to avoid anxiety or depression as it creeps up on us quietly.
God Speed!

So it’s taken a whole 15 months. This is something else. Which email did you use for complaints?
We thank God it’s done. Well the 2.5yrs, 1 yr is already gone on the waiting.
We pray these waiting times are reduced.

Hi Zeek, I believe its the general complaint email as any applications over the guideline process times you can pursue the case, anything before that they say its still in the guideline time, i made a quite comprehensive complaint few months ago and they replied within a month which i personally found quite helpful but thats my case but maybe OP used another email. I believe ukba dont have specific correspondonces emails as it would probably be spammed with issues lol.

I also wish times get reduced but with backlogs and short staffed and badly managed takes long time , i think they should just sort out the applications they have now before accpeting new ones , its basic business, if you own a salon and have 100 booked for the week ,why you gonna book another 500 for the week, then the 500 are waiting many months, complaining , whilst your sorting the 100 lol, i think they took on more than they can chew

Thanks Bro, it was still 8 weeks guidance when I first applied but a slow yes is better than a quick no.
I used complaints[at]homeoffice.gov.uk

Best of luck brother. If you have already exceeded 12 months I'd shoot them an email.

The backlog is crazy and Ukraine and Asylum doesn't help but still, for people who have been in the UK, living and following the rules you'd think that would be easier to review and give a decision. Check bank statement, check proof of accommodation, check criminal record, confirm active in kid's life or marriage and make a decision.

Applied for wife
Fee waiver application 17/10/2024
Fee waiver granted 12/11/2024
Full application FLR FP 14/11-2024
Done biometrics and received an email from Home office atlas regarding more information about kids living with her at same address such as school letter or gp letter.
Send the same time
I and our three kids are British citizens
My Question
During her biometrics they retained her Passport, Is it normal one?
Thanks

I am going through an agonising wait for passports to be sent back; My decision email was on 4th November but till now 5th December I have not received the passports back. Funny thing is my adult child's one (which was a separate application) came after just 1 week. I am at a loss. Lawyer has written Home Office but nothing yet.......

Please check online (direct.gov) for the process. You first apply for Learners Licence and can submit expired BRP if you dont have passport.

Hi Zeeky yeah its family route, i got fed up other day with waiting time, its been 8 months since submission of fee waiver man, i understand the processing times and ins and outs but its madness so i made a complaint to the home office and contaced various goverment departments and contact my local mp, i went on a mad one lol, my mp got in contact saying he will will get an update and ask ukba to provide me with 3c status , he said will take 4-6 weeks so if i dont hear anything by then i just gonna keep harrasing them.

I have received fee waiver positive reply.
Fee waiver applied : 04 Nov 2024
Fee waiver accepted: 6 Dec 2024
Total took 32 days .

Will complete FLR(FP) this week.
I just wanna say when completing fee waiver application just be honest and don't try to hide any anything because eventually they will discover it.So be honest and explain each and every point in detail don't miss even a smallest one.i have done it without any help of solicitor just used AI to help me to complete this application.

hey Ukguy, i noticed some people get approved quicker or longer depending when they apply, alot of people who applied earlier in the year like myself or last year have have just now got approved but i see people who applied around winter time this year gets quickly approved, but agree, better to be honest with these things no point trying to lie to get approved , your just gambling your life away and shooting yourself in the foot. i applied in march got approved august , submitted flr now just waiting. but good luck with your FLR

Well interestingly I did apply earlier this year in end of July with keep in mind about processing delays of fee waiver application but I got approved within 30 days but can't used it though. So I believe how you describe your circumstances and provide evidences of each thing is important in this process. And of course once Luck too.I wish everyone will get it what they are fighting for.ameen
