Furloughed workers - Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme

Post by vamsikaa » Tue Mar 24, 2020 12:02 pm

I am tier 2 visa holder. Due to current situation my employer put forward Furloughed workers - Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme in order to protect the business in current situation. If i agree with my employer and take this Furloughed workers - Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme, will this have an impact on my visa status. Will this be considered as using public funds and will endup with decline when i apply for ILR next year. Your useful guidance will be of great help.

It is NOT public funds. It is your EMPLOYER that claims the grant from HO to pay the salaries. It is not YOU making a claim.
