Black stamp and settler status

Post by Vlad2111 » Mon Aug 22, 2022 8:28 am

Hello everyone,

I have a question about my girlfriend. When she came to the UK they place a black stamp with the date of entry and date of leave on her passport. Now she is waiting for the settler status decision and my question is can she reenter the UK if we get back home for two weeks? I know she can travel while waiting for the decision but that back stamp is my concern. Thank you so much for your help.

Does she have a Certificate of Application for EU Settled Status?
If so this can be used for entering the UK: https://www.gov.uk/uk-border-control/be ... for-the-uk

Quote:
"If you’re waiting for a decision on your application for settled or pre-settled status
You can still use your EEA or Swiss national identity card to enter the UK if all of the following are true:
you’ve applied for settled or pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme, or Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man’s settlement schemes
you’ve been issued with confirmation your application is valid
you’re not applying as a joining family member"
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.

So the black stamp on the passport won't be a problem?

She just has confirmation of the application. So the black stamp on the passport won't be a problem?

What does the black stamp say and look like?
Which country is she from?

I can make a picture after work but it's just a stamp with dates of entry and the date when she has to leave the UK. She is from Bulgaria

If it’s one of these stamps or similar, then it’s normal.
