This would averagely not be a problem but I came to the UK as a minor and therefore certain things that my home country needs like a National ID and the National ID's of my parents, I am unable to provide to them as the country's government give you these documents when you turn 18 ( I turned 18 whilst living in the UK) and my parents have not been back to the country since coming here and so they do not not know where their ID's are.
I do however have copies of the lost passport including a photo scan of the Indefinite Leave to Remain. I am also able to provide documents that show that I have remained in the country since being granted the Indefinite Leave to Remain.
My question is, is it actually possible to apply for the NTL application with a lost and expired passport since it appears on the government website that the point of the BRP is to replace the ILR in the event that it is lost, stolen or expired.
If it is indeed possible to apply for the NTL application would it be possible for someone to please direct me to the appropriate forms to do this? Additionally, what are my chances of success in being granted a BRP in this situation?
Thank you ever so much for taking the time to read this and for any advice given in response to this post.
