Hi,
My sister is applying for hee husband to jolin her in the UK via the spouse visa route. I have started seeing criminal record certificate as one of the required documents for application, and even though UK Home Office website only mentions it by saying "if they have any criminal conviction", I'm worried that if she doesn't include a certificate they can refuse and say they aren't sure the applicant hasn't had any convictions.
What is the requirement on this? Home Office documents checklist is not clear at all. Obviously he can just include it just in case but they don't know how long it will take to get a certificate after this point, and whether where we're from does this at all!
