Hi, I am posting this question on behalf of my friend, whose application for UK visit visa has been refused. My friend applied from Pakistan. Reason for refusals were, that there are transactions in the bank statement where source of funds was not clear. Then visa officer objected that he is not sure where applicant’s family is, although a family registration document was provided. Visa officer wrote that he is not convinced that applicant has sufficient family and financial ties back home and may not leave UK.
Now my friend has sought advice of different visa consultants and they said, applicant must maintain separate business and personal bank accounts. Do you think it’s a good idea. Problem is, if he starts maintaining different bank accounts now, then it will take him two three years to present financial information, the way consultants are asking. Consultants are saying if you apply UK or Canada visit visa again, you are likely to be refused again on the same grounds.
My question is …. Is it necessary that my friend has to maintain different bank accounts ? or he can make fresh UK visit visa application and try to explain source of funds on bank transactions ?
Please advise.
Here are refusal reasons given in the letter by UKVI:
I note the transaction history in your personal bank account demonstrates numerous unsourced deposits. The documents you have submitted do not demonstrate the origin of the funds contained in your account.
However, this document in isolation, does not demonstrate the whereabouts of your family members and the additional documents you have provided do not demonstrate family members who are remaining in your country of residence or elsewhere. On the basis of the statements made on your application form and the documents submitted I am not satisfied that you have demonstrated strong family or social ties that would necessitate your departure from the UK.
