UK Visitor Visa application status

Hi - looking for advice, my parents applied for UK visa in November last year. Mom got her visa a couple of weeks ago but father hasn't. UKVI told us about 2 weeks ago that the decision has been made on his application but he hasn't received his passport yet. I have tried calling both VFS and UKVI, they give standard responses I.e. visa Centre will contact, document processing is taking time etc. Anyone here faced a similar situation? Any other way to get them to check or escalate this?

Similar situation. Decision made on visa applications two weeks ago and cases closed, but no contact from embassy or visa application centre regarding issuing of visa application or passport.

I checked with UKVI and they aren’t escalating visitor visa applications so all we can do is wait.

Unlike before where you more or less get decision Notification and passport/document pickup notification same day, recent trend appears to be waiting for weeks for VAC centre to contact you for pick up of passport or documents. Exercise patience.

Thank you for the responses. Still no luck. Is getting a bit frustrating now. Has finally anyone managed to recieve the documents after waiting? If yes, pls let me know how long did you wait.

An applicant was contacted by VAC to pick up passport and or documents 12 days after receiving decision made email.
