Withdraw the invitation letter will be confidential process?

Post by ljm » Thu Oct 01, 2015 8:35 pm

I have sent invitation letter to a friend coming to visit in the UK (travel visa) After he had got the letter we had an argument on the phone as he stated his actual plan Is to stay in the UK for the long term run, this may mean he will use the travel visa to come into the country and stay here illegally ( not return on time). I may face to the legal charge as I am the inviting party and make sure he should be go back on time. However, i can not stop him to make the application now as he has already got my invitation letter, what I want to do is write a withdraw letter to the embassy visa section to explain the reason of withdraw. The embassy shall be able to refuse his application.

The problem is I want the embassy visa section to keep my withdraw confiditially for safety reasons, because during our argument between me and my friend he threaten me if I dare stop him to come into the uk. I worry about my safety as I go back to my home country quite often, he can see me over there.

Can anybody give ideas what I shall do under this situation and any idea if the embassy keep my withdraw confidentially but refuse my friend for the reason of "immigration intend"

Thank you everyone for the reply!

Which embassy are you dealing with?

If its UK you can report immigration fraud in confidence to HO/ UKVI.

I don't want to wait to report until he comes. I want the embassy in the country where he apples for the visa to refuse him

Log it in system & surely HO will share the information out to the embassy.
