ILR status approved with my partner, my eVisa shows settled and partner shows dependant

Hi all,

Earlier this year I made a similar posts asking for some clarification on the eVisas, as myself and my partner have applied at the same time for ILR, we got BRPs that shows ILR, and were asked to create a UKVI account which we have linked to our passport.

In my case I show as settled in my eVisa status, but my wife somehow shows as dependant instead of settled. Please note that in the eVisa all the rest of the text is exactly the same (regarding settled status in the UK) for both, but the only difference is that her status shows "dependant" and mine shows "settled".

Is this still a problem with their system? I've had other people also having similar problems, but I wonder if that would be a problem when we apply for naturalisation next year.

Not an issue - other people have observed this.

My husband is a British citizen. I applied for ILR recently along with my son. My son is minor and so, I added him to my application. My evisa says settled status but my son's says dependant! I am confused too. I guess any dependent application is showing up as dependant rather than settled, be it a spouse or kid. It doesn't make sense though the rest of the evisa confirms indefinite leave to remain.

It makes sense to the Home Office, and that's all that really counts.
