In your case, this is your first spouse visa. Having a prior 2 year cohabitation isn't a requirement. This is for those renewing their spouse visas.BlossomAyesha wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2024 1:38 pmDear All,
I am a non Uk citizen currently on Graduate rout visa.
My husband got his naturalisation certificate on 15 Nov 2022.
When we get into relationship in 2021, he was still married to his ex-wife but they were living at same property as a separated couple.
They started divorce process and final order granted 08 nov 2022.
We mostly then lived at same address from 2022, but he did not change his address details, apart of GP or driving licence. (Banks were paperless)
We properly moved together on our current address on 16 jan 2023. And we have joint utility bills in our names since then.
We got married on 28 March 2024.
My visa is expiring on 01 june 2024.
I am filling out BRC application as a british spouse.
In the application they asked us 2 years of proof of relationship.
According to my situation we are in relationship for about 4 years.
But we have complete joint accounts only from Jan 2024 (15 months instead of 24).
Can someone help me here, is it mandatory for british married spouse to prove complete 2 year history?
Thank you!

In my opinion, your relationship didn't start until his marriage was dissolved. Prior to that, he was legally married to someone else. So you might want to look into that. Details of wording matters.

Is it hard copies we have to send to home office, or it will be uploaded online. All uploaded online.
Do we need to submit all documents for whole period? Like one year bills and bank statments. Etc. 6months pay slips and bank statements suffices if requirements met under Cat.A.

What is Cat.A? Simply that income to be used for financial requirements is from within last 6months for a job or employment held for at least that duration.

Thank you for the reply!
For the proof of lenght of relationship history, how to submit, i mean from the start of moving dates (15 months) or one from the start date and then just few and the current month.
I m asking because we have 8 joint bills/documents, and for 15 month it will be quit a lot.
Also!
Do we expect any immigration interview or home visit? Interview is random selection and far and in-between.
Not aware any home visit.
If someone know, how window appointment work? If any interview is to hold you will be made aware of this well in advance
Thank you!
AmazonianX wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 12:44 amFrom your end it is 11:59, we don't know when the server processes and clocks it as submitted at HO's end.
A member recently unknowingly crossed into the new requirements by leaving things till the last minute.
May stand you in good stead to include your income and evidence if possible.
Is it at the time of biometric booking?AmazonianX wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 1:09 amIt is at time of making appointment and getting priority service is dependent on the capacity to process it.
If you have booked already, existing booking will have to be cancelled to get access to check what service is available.
No, not after you have submitted an application in the UK.Is there anything if can change standard service to priority service.
That is all you can do but you still might NOT get the Super Priority option, it is limited based on UKVI capacity. Even if you do get the option, it is not a guaranteed service. If some one think I have done any mistake I am happy to cancel the application and apply again.
Correct.I understand, to do so I have to show £29000 financial requirement, which is ok,
You only have two options, standard service or SUPER priority which costs £1000. Normal 5 day Priority for £500 does not apply to your visa route. But I want Priority service.

Priority and super priority are not a guaranteed service.
Members have reported sometimes getting the option after midnight. Is there any specific way to get this appointment?
New application, new fees payable. The cancelled application fees will be refunded and takes a few weeks. In case I cancel this application,
Do i have to pay again for IHS or can I use the Old one?
Is the IHS refrence is linked with individual application Id?

Why the rush though if your visa only expires on 1st June?

Yes, timeline results looks not bad for standard applications,
Dear, one quick question about supporting documents.
Guidlines say, to prove relationship history, we need 6 different sources, so for how many months we need each 6 bills. Is it 6 joint bills for 15 months (we living at same address). It will be around 100 files. If first spouse visa application evidence of cohabitation not required otherwise it is 6 documents in both of your names from at least 3 sources covering last 2years spread evenly at intervals of 3-4months
Also my husband is self employed, i have to attach 12 months bank statment to show that his income come into his account. Or he also recieved a statement from HMRC for the last 4 years about his tax paid and balance on his account!
As a safe side, I will be attaching my own p60 salary slips and job contract, letter from employer confirming my position and job dates etc. how many slips should be enough!
Thank you!
