Starting business on spouse visa?

Starting business on spouse visa?

Hello,

I'm new to the board so wasn't sure where to ask. My spouse just got her spouse visa which allows her to work. We applied on FLR (M) route.

Is she allowed to start a business like an LTD and start trading? There doesn't seem to be any guidance regarding this. :(

Yes, she is free to do any employment, including starting a business.

Just wanted to know when she applies for extension for the visa does she need to submit her own finances or can she still be sponsored by me?

A point to note though, the requirements if she uses her self employed income for her extension requires a lot of different paperwork to prove income that normal PAYE employment.
