My wife is here on a 5 year spouse visa. She is initially on a 33 month spouse visa in which she has to sit the new Trinity A1 test. She has to then apply for an extension in which she has to sit the b1 and do the life in the uk test.
My wife recently sat this test. I called the helpline without success. I went ahead and Booked the test for £150. I emailed trinity twice and both times I was told that my wife should only take in the ID document used to book the test. Just on the safe side she took a family photo. It just so happens that she was quizzed on it.

This is my first post. We have been through hell trying Prep schools that either don't know which exams we should sit. They just want your money and teach you next to nothing. I ended up teaching my wife myself.
Make sure you find out about the prep school before handing over the money. They take your money and don't give it back once you realise they are useless!
