BRP case reference number

Hi Everyone,

I have applied for a BRP and wanted to know how long it takes for you to receive the case reference number. I phoned the Home Office up but they say it could take up to 4 weeks. I desperately need it or else I cant start my job. Does anyone have an experience of this and how did you receive it by email/post?

It could take between 3 to 4 weeks to get a Biometrics letter and the reference.
