BRP issue date different than visa issue date

Hi All,

A curious question - I noticed that my BRP issue date is different than my visa issue date.

BRP issue - 11-May-2022
Visa issue - 25-May-2022
Entry to UK - 4-June-2022
Visa valid until 19-Jun-2027

Is this a problem? Also what date will I have to use to calculate the earliest I can apply for ILR? I know I am very far off from applying ILR, but still curious.

It greatly depends on what visa this is. It could be initial visa issue date or UK entry date. Your story isn't well defined.

You should use the first visa ISSUE date. BRP issue date could be later

If above dates from OP correct, the BRP issue date earlier than visa issue date.

Yes. Hence I said 'could'. The first visa issue date is the gold standard. So the earliest date amongst the document should be used

Thanks! I will go based on the visa issue date when the time comes. Looks like there is no issue with the BRP date being earlier than visa issue date..
