Hi Does anyone know how long it takes ISD to reply to a simple query? In the absence of a reply, how best to push for one?

There are absolutely no timelines (and whether they even respond).

If the query is simple, do you really need an answer? ISD s known not to have the best response rate.
Try asking your TD to send a question on your behalf, but that doesn't guarantee an answer either.

Some of the recent examples using the new portal showed them responding in 2-3 weeks, although this may drastically increase now after a surge of registrations in that portal.
