Landline numbers for calling Home Office.

Post by valsad » Thu Jan 08, 2009 8:25 pm

Hi friends,

Everyone on this forum calls HO at some point. Here are the alternate landline numbers to call from mobile using inclusive minutes.

Instead of calling 0870 606 7766, call on 0121 7045450, 0151 2370405, the last number 0141 5551258 is not working properly but still can use rest 2 numbers.

For British Nationality, instead of calling 0845 010 5200, call on 0151 6725626.

Pass it on to save on phone bills.

Is it possible to make it sticky.

Thanks

Please can you post a link to where you got those numbers. Also where the call goes through to. They are not much use if they go to the post room.

Also, a number is useless if the last 2 digits are missing.

These number were on old SET(O) forms and they take you to the same call centre with same options. you can check it by visiting www.saynoto0870.com, click on search alternate numbers and enter 0870... or 0845...., this will give you alternate landline number, It works as I am using it.

Also, a number is useless if the last 2 digits are missing.
Paperpusher, what do you mean by your statement, if you count digits, each telephone number is of 11 digits.

Effective January 16th 2009, all 0870 & 0845 numbers will be free from a BT landline depending on your phone package.

The main Home Office switchboard number has always been 0207 0354848.

From where you will be put through to Immigration, Nationality Enquiries and anything else.
