OCI Renewal after reaching age 50

OCI Renewal after reaching age 50

Hi
I renewed my UK passport last year but did not transfer my existing OCI which is still linked to my old UK passport. So looking to transfer it soon but I will also be reaching age 50 this month.
So what are the current rules for OCI after reaching 50 and also transferring to new UK passport?

You need to apply for new OCI booklet once after you turn 50, your new UK passport details would be linked with new booklet.

This requirement is scrapped now.
Now need to renew after age of 50.
Just upload you new photo and passport copy online and the service is free
