Partner on Spouse Visa- Funded degree from workplace

Post by SweetyJ » Mon Jan 06, 2025 12:41 pm

Good afternoon,

I am married to a British national and am currently on a Spouse Visa (Not eligible for public funds). My workplace is offering me an opportunity for a fully funded academic degree (BA, MA, PhD etc.) I have confirmed with them that this is sponsored by my workplace rather than funds being used from the Public funds. However, is there anything I need to consider/ any chance something like this could hinder my Spouse Visa application (making application for the next 2.5 years In Jan 2025) or my leave to remain?

Anything I need to be aware of or factor into my decision making with regards to my visa would be really helpful.

Thank so much in advance! Much appreciated. :)

Not sure why you've posted this in the benefits section? It’s not a public fund if your employer is funding you. Have you considered if they will fund you as a non-home student? International student fees are very expensive.
