MN1 Application Form-Referees

Post by Haadiz » Mon Dec 09, 2019 1:01 pm

Dear Senior's and those who helped me during the process of my ILR Application

I have received my ILRin the end of November 2019 and I am now in the process of applying for British Citizenship of my two children through MN1 application. I have completed the form for both the Children and now require some suggestions regarding Referees.

One of my child who is 11 years of age, born in the UK in 2008 and his Biometirc was expired in November the 7th 2019. However, my younger child was born in October 2017 and he acquire no visa since he never travel outside the UK. My question is;

1. Is this necessary that the professional referees should no both the children for no less than 3 years? Since we have changed the area but I have been able to persuade my child head teacher to be his professional referee since he know him for a year only. Please advise if this is OK for the referee who know the child for less than 3 years?

2. For my 2 years son, I am not being able to get any professional referee, since I spoke to Health Visitors, GP as they are the only people who have been engaged with him throgh professional capacity. They are not ready to disclose their personal data but they are willing to provide a letter. Please advise

Please advise and your thoughts on this will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Senior's

Since my child is just two years old, and the only people who recognise him in a professional capacity is a GP, and the health visitor. They both have refused to provide their personal details and it this is some thing I have no control.

Please kindly advise if the Childminder can be the referee of my child? Your prompt support will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Thank you so much Zimba for getting back to me on the above matter. I have been able to get Professional Referees for each child and this include a Dentist (for two years Child) and a Head Teacher (for 12 Years Child). I hope this will be acceptable? Please advise & Confirm

Thanks

National ID cards are not required. You only need passports.

Why are you submitting proof of address and school documents?

Hi CR001

Just a couple of bills showing that both the parent and child live together. School letter to confirm he studied in grammar school. It’s an additional supporting doc, I can remove them if they are unnecessary.

Do you see the rest of the documents are fine to submit?

Thanks

You only need to submit what the guidance and checklist ask for. Don't submit unnecessary documents.
