OCI confirmation & collection - Advise needed

All,

My latest OCI application status shows this:-

Documents Printing Status - PROCESSED - On - 14-JUN-2013
Dispatched From MOIA (OCI ) - NEW DELHI - On - BLANK
Document received at - LONDON - On - BLANK

Do I need to wait until the "Dispatched" and "Document Received" dates are also filled in or can I go with the printed status report any time now along with the passport for my OCI collection.

Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

I am also waiting for my OCI card and my process has just started because acknowledgement was done on 13th June.

I need the OCI in one month. Hence, just wanted to know more detail about your application timelines.

-When did it get acknowledge?
-Did you send it to London office?
-My application show underproces on. Will it show more detail later as the time progresses.
-I think if it stays on Under Process on until 10 July then I would need to go for Indian short term visa as may need to go to India Urgently.

Please help.

May be snapshot of your status from OCI website will help.

Hello Kamal

Yes, I sent my OCI family application (2 adults + 2 kids) to London HCI. Was a postal application sent by SD on March 27, reached HCI on 28 March.

Acknowledged on 24 May, and my documents processing was done on 14 June (as per MHA website). I may have to wait for another week (or 10 days) before the documents would be reached to London for collection.

Since your application was acknowledged on 13 June, you should be looking around 15 of July for the documents to be received in London. But it may not be necessarily same for all applications but can be little later or may be earlier.

If you think that's going to be a problem for you, apply for the visa.

I could not take a snapshot of the website but it exactly says what I have mentioned above.

Hello Santosh,

Has your OCI been dispatched from Delhi and/or Reached London?

My application was approved on 18th June but not yet dispatched so thought of checking with you.

EDITED 23/6/2013 - The status has changed and I can see documents dispatched from Delhi on 21/6/13, so hopefully they will be ready for collection at HCI in the next couple of days.

When was your application acknowledged?

Mine was acknowledge on 13th June. So, wondering if I can get the OCI card by 15th July or not.

Also, when you says approved. Does that mean the status for document printing says "Processes"?

My document has reached so I am planning to visit tomorrow or day after.

Documents printed on 18/6/2013
Dispatched from Delhi 21/6/2013
Received at London 25/6/2013

What that means?
on timeline topics the status of some of applicants has options like --
Document Scanned.......
OCI Granted .......
OCI Documents Printed......

My complete status report is given below...
Date of acknowledgement - 7th June 2013
OCI Number is - xxxxxxxx
Document Printing Status - PROCESSED on 28th June 2013
Dispached From MOIA(OCI) New Delhi - on 2nd July 2013
Documents Received at LONDON -- on ...................

Please help me understand all this...

To get OCI cards for family of 4, do I need to send all in one special delivery envelop with one self addressed special delivery envelop

Dear Forum,

finding difficulty printing OCI status report to collect OCI card.

The status report has no print ption and icon for print command and comes as encrypted document with no option to cut past etc..

please reply if you know how to sort this out

Though my OCI is due to be received in London but wanted to know the process on the day to pick it.

Is there too much crowd?
If I reach there around 9:30 am then also be able to submit my passport?

you can submit anytime between 8.30 - 12.00

better go bit late (if you can) so that you can avoid crowd and it will not take more than few mintues to deposit the passport and printout of the OCI tracking page.

collection between 4.30-5pm and you have to queue for 15-20 mins depending on when you arrive.
