Hi Everyone,
I am in the UK on a tier-4 visa and my visa expires by January end 2020. I have been offered a job in the UK which DOES NOT fall into the shortage occupancy list. It is an experienced role. I am aware that those switching from tier-4 to tier-2 do not require a RLMT. However, the company offering me the job says they are still required to go through it as my role does not fall into the shortage occupancy list. Is that true?
Can someone with a similar experience or expertise in this area help me understand why the RLMT would be required to make a case for sponsorship when I am already on a tier-4 visa? Thank you in advance!
