What you have got to do now is wait.dams wrote: ↑Fri Dec 15, 2023 12:06 amHello everyone,
I hope someone can help me. I've applied for a skilled worker visa on the 23 Nov 2023 using the priority service.
The HO got back to me a couple of days after my submission, asking for an evidence that I have met the English requirements. And I sent uploading it on the website the same day.
The day after, I received another message from the HO stating that my employer provided the wrong type of CoS and that I had 10 working days to provide the new one.
On the 10th day I've accidentally sent the sponsor licence number instead of the CoS certificate number in my first email on Monday but I immediately noticed it and sent a second email shortly after with the right CoS certificate number. It's been now 4 days since I provided the new CoS and I still haven't heard from the HO. Not sure what to think considering I paid for the priority service.
Has anyone experienced the same thing?
Any help will be greatly appreciated
Thanks

I'm thrilled to let you all know that I finally got my skilled worker visa on December 19th! It was a journey with a few ups and downs, like sending the wrong documents and waiting for the Home Office (HO). I want to share the main steps of my application, hoping it might help others going through the same thing.
Here's what happened:
1. [Nov 23, 2023] - Initial Application: I applied for the skilled worker visa using the priority service.
2. [Nov 27, 2023] - HO's Request for English Proficiency Proof: The HO requested evidence of my English proficiency, which I promptly submitted online.
3. [Nov 28, 2023] - CoS Issue Identified: The HO informed me that my employer had submitted the wrong type of CoS. I was given 10 working days to correct this.
4. [Dec 11, 2023] - Submission of New CoS: I emailed the new CoS provided by my employer.
5. [Dec 11, 2023] - Correction of CoS Information: Initially, I accidentally sent the sponsor license number rather than the CoS certificate number. I quickly rectified this error by sending a follow-up email with the correct CoS information.
6. [Dec 13, 2023] - Emails to Home Office: I sent several emails to different addresses to the Home Office, inquiring about the status of my application and confirming the submission of the new CoS.
7. [Dec 15, 2023] - I Called the HO: I phoned the HO international number. The person I talked to assisted me by emailing the department responsible for CoS handling to prioritize my application, as it was initially under priority service. (Note: The call cost £5, but it really helped move things along.)
8. [Dec 18, 2023] - Application Update Received: I got a notification indicating that my application was undergoing some checks, but they assured me it was being processed.
9. [Dec 19, 2023] - Visa Approval: My application was successfully processed and approved.
I hope my story helps anyone else who's applying for a visa. Thanks to this community for all the support. Good luck to everyone with your visa application!
Best wishes,
