Returning to UK with less than 6 months of validity in passport

Hope you all doing well!!

I am an Indian currently living in UK. For year end vacation, I am travelling to US. while returning to UK, my passport will be having less than 6 months of validity. However I have BRP card and e-Visa at the moment.
Will I be denied entry If I come back to UK with less than 6 months of validity in the passport?

Kindly help as I am confused on how to proceed with this?

No!! Where does it say you have to have 6 months validity on your passport to travel to the UK as a resident?

Thanks a lot for reply.

I googled it and found lot of sites including postoffice.co.uk where it states minimum passport validity of 6 months.

This is for British passport holders travelling to the EU - it's an EU requirement and travellers have been refused boarding flight FROM the UK.

Entry to the UK requires just a valid passport (even if just 1 day left!) plus the relevant visa/BRP for residents.

For visitors, NOT residents! And British citizens

Also, the post office has absolutely no authority over a foreign passport either. They are a post office, not the home office.
