Re: Right to work in the UK - Family visas of British Spouse

Thanks for sharing the information.

May I know if family visa as a spouse is also known by any specific name like Tier 1, Tier 4 dependent etc.?

We want to put the correct immigration status in her CV and mention that she can work without CoS.

Cheers

I am a British National and my spouse is been granted Family visa. Is she allowed to work in the UK and does she need Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) from employer to work?

If they are different then if you can please help me understand the key differences? No they are not the same. Admin Review is when the original decision is reviewed by ...

Are you asking a 'what if' questions or have you actually been refused for a reason??? You appear to only recently have applied for a spouse visa! https://www.immigrationboards.com/immigration-for-family-members/dependent-visa-for-second-wife-divorce-from-earlier-wife-already-given-long-back ...

Appeal timeline for dependent married visa

Hello All,

In case of a married wife dependent visa rejection, what is time period between which an appeal can be submitted?

Can you please also share the general appeal process timeline - how much time it takes for the decision once appeal is been submitted?

Thanks

Re: Possible to refer case to GRO or any other action?

Thanks, CR001. I have submitted the documents as you mentioned.

In case UKVI decides that the foreign divorce is not valid in the UK then will my case become polygamous marriage and it will be referred to GRO or only spouse visa will be rejected ?

Cheers

Re: OCI applied VFS Birmingham, UK - Under process status

No there was no request for more info. I just checked and the status is updated to PROCESSED on 23 april 2016. I think i should get it in next 7 to 10 working days. So, based on your experience you suggest that in few cases it is taking much more time than stipulated 42 days but there is no request ...

Referee for Citizenship - Manager of VAT registered company

Hello Forum,

I am working for a MNC IT company . As I understand, a Director or Manager of VAT registered company can sign as one of the referee. In that case, will reference/signature of my immediate manager - who knows me from last 8 years - is acceptable ?
