ILR priority service

Hi Team, Just a quick question: Is the priority service available for ILR based on a spouse visa (5-year route)? I can only see options for standard and super priority services. Someone mentioned that the Home Office has suspended the priority service for some time. Is this true? Also, is the link ...

Re: Registering My Child as a British Citizen: Can We Bypass ILR?

Can this way the ILR be skipped? As one parent would be British, and the other is applying for citizenship, then the child can be registered as a British citizen as well No. It's still a requirement for child to have ILR in this case - see emphasis. Children applying in line with parents Children ...

Re: Registering My Child as a British Citizen: Can We Bypass ILR?

or just go for MN1 form for the child if it get rejected then apply child's ilr and later register based on ilr. You are very unlikely to be successful with MN1 application without ILR. Its your call, but MN1 before ILR will most likely turn to be money lost. Is it possible for me to apply for my ...

Re: Registering My Child as a British Citizen: Can We Bypass ILR?

The child needs ilr first. The child has no entitlement to register for British citizenship. Thank you for your kind help. Is it possible for me to apply for my spouse's ILR this month? Let's assume she gets approved next week or so based on priority service. In December, can I then apply for her ...

Re: Registering My Child as a British Citizen: Can We Bypass ILR?

It is a section 3(1) at discretion application on form MN1. 3(2) and 3(5) do NOT apply to your circumstances. A child born abroad needs ilr, ie settlwd and free from immigration time restrictions, before they can apply for citizenship. Thank you. can I apply online or i have to fill MN1 form ...

Registering My Child as a British Citizen: Can We Bypass ILR?

My child was born outside the UK and came on a dependent visa with her mother in November 2019. She is now due for ILR in November 2024, after completing five years of residence. I am now a British national by naturalisation; I was not a British citizen when she was born. She was born in 2012, and I ...

Re: Spouse Visa Extension and Universal Credit Urgent Help Required

Also in June 22, there is DWP UC amount 326 appeared in my bank for no reason. I do not think they should have paid it might be they are giving to everyone. Shall I do declare all this? I mean in may22 amount of 46.29 is even not my fault and I don’t have clue of 326.00. My question is, all this w ...

Good Evening Members, quick question, My daughter is on dependent visa, first extension is due soon. I am British Citizen. I am wondering whether the eye test is free for her ( she is 9 years old) or do I have to pay fee for eye test and glasses? I spoke to specsavers and they said if child is ...

Re: Child benefit and spouse visa extension

Thank you as always for your kind response. I am a bit confused about capital gain tax. Does CGT counts toward the £50k income threshold? I.E if my salary is £40k and I also earn £20k as captial gain in a year , does it take me over the threshold? Your ordinary income is taxed first at the higher re ...

Re: Information about your Nationality application

Your previous posts suggest you got ilr based on 2 X 3 years DLR, which I understand did not have an English or liuk requirement for ilr. So even if you submitted them, they would have been disregarded and not counted as being used in a previous application. Thank you very much. Your reply makes ...

This form appeared on applicant accounts only recently - so it would appear it was not required when you submitted your application.
There have been many posts here about this from those waiting for approval, some waiting even longer than you.
Thank you for you reply. I was worried
