I applied for a visa on form flr ( lr) as I had not done my life in uk test.

I have since doe my life in uk test and applied for settlement on form set ( lr) on the 28th of Jan 2015.

My ilr was granted this week .

I got my 2 year limited leave to remain in the UK based on 10 years long residency Mid Dec 2014 - THANK GOD! :D

Thought I might share the good news with the forum - May help someone who may be in a similar situation.

hi amber. thanks for your response i went and sought legal advise and turns out JR is not a good idea. anyway , today i have received a letter from the homeoffice responding to my flr(lr) application asking me to go for biometrics. i made and flr(lr) as i am still yet to do my life in uk test. hi today 29.08.2014 i received ltr refusal with no appeal rights . I first came to the uk on the 26.09.2004 but received my visa on the 21.09.2004. I posted my application to vary the ltr to long residency today . The letter of refusal came around 3.30 pm today at which time i had posted my ...

@ amber thanks for your advise I was not 100% sure I could do this. But thanks for this once more. As I applied for my flr fp 20 days after my refusal with no right of appeal would you suggest that I apply when i actually clock 10 years in the UK or as you advise 28 days prior.
