I am not British but can I hire my British relatives to work

I'm not British, but I was wondering could I employ my British brother and my British mother to work in my company. I mean would hiring them be acceptable to fill the requirement of creating 2 jobs for British citizens under the Entrepreneur visa. Would that be acceptable and fit the criteria under ...

Which are the easiest European countries to immigrate to?

Which European countries are the easiest to emigrate to for Non EU citizens. Whether it be where a relatively small investment is needed or where someone can relatively easily live and work there. I'm talking about all European countries, EU and Non EU.

Re: Can I be sponsored by my mother?

@ECOTROT thanks for the honest advice, I looked up the Entrepreneur visa a while back and yes while I can get my hands on £200,000 from my mother, I heard that even if you have the £200,000 and a decent business plan, many applications get rejected even if all the requirements are fulfilled. I also h ...

Re: Can I be sponsored by my mother?

Thanks for your reply and response, it is informative. So even if this route has been more difficult than it was...it might still be possible. Also I know kids are dependents, but what really entails a dependent. Hypothetically speaking, I mean if I am still living with my mother in my thirties ...

Re: Can I be sponsored by my mother?

Yeah what you say is very true, However wasn't there this Surinder Singh loophole that British citizens married to Non EU citizens have been taking advantage of. As far as I understand it, these couples as a result of the European freedom of movement, move to mainland Europe, where the British ...

Re: Can I be sponsored by my mother?

Oh I see what your saying, but can't I just be sponsored by my British mum as a family member? Many people who come to work in the UK bring their non EU parents, spouses, children and other family members...can't I get a visa that way?

Re: Can I be sponsored by my mother?

I was born before January 1st 1983 and I wasn't born in British Commonwealth country. I know I'm not entitled because of this for British Citizenship as far as I know. What I want to know is if my British mother can sponsor me and hire me in her hotel in the UK? Or even if she can just sponsor me in ...

Can I be sponsored by my mother?

My mother is British but she was not born in the UK so therefore I am not eligible to get British Citizenship through her as far as I know. I'm not even allowed to get an ancestry visa because I don't come from a Common Wealth Country. However my mother is setting up a hotel business in the UK very ...

250,000 Euro investment on real estate by Non EU citizens

I've read that investing 250,000 Euros in real estate in Greece will allow a non EU citizen to be granted long term residency in the country. My questions are: 1) how quickly will residency be granted and for how long will the residency be for? 2) Are there more fees to be paid on top of the 250,000 ...

Re: How do I get a Bulgarian work permit

Thanks for the information Amber, but if I were to buy a shop in Bulgaria for 20,000 to 30,000 Euros and then intend to work in it, would I be granted a work permit? It says in the article you've posted that work permits are granted to foreigners who wish to be self employed, I just want to confirm ...

How do I get a Bulgarian work permit

What are the requirements in order to obtain a Bulgarian work permit. I was thinking of buying a small business in Bulgaria for 20,000 Euros and then work in it. How easy will this be to do? Any details on the process I'd have to go through in order to do this?

How long does the min£200,000 investment need to be in bank?

I know that for an entrepreneur visa, the maintenance money needs to have been in one's bank account for at least 3 months at the time of application. However, my question is how long does the investment fund of at least £200,000 need to be in my account at the time of application? Because I will be ...

Re: Is it ok to take over an already established business?

Hello attahaas, I just want to confirm with you the hypothetical scenario I put to you yesterday. If a British relative of mine bought a running business outright say for £150,000, which would make him the owner. Then I invested my £200,000 into his business(company's bank account). Then my relative ...

Re: Is it ok to take over an already established business?

Ok one more last question, so hypothetically speaking, would it be ok for my British relative to buy a running business outright. Re: Is it ok to take over an already established business?

Re: Is it ok to take over an already established business?

You know why can't I pay the value of the business directly to the previous owner? Especially if I have the money to do so? Getting into an agreement where I invest my money into the existing business that the owner also still owns seems a bit risky to me. I'd have to have an agreement in writing ...

Re: Is it ok to take over an already established business?

Since it's an existing business, there must be existing employees, so you must make sure you create additional ...
