Your 10-year qualifying period starts from either:

-when you arrived in the UK with a visa

-when you were given permission to stay in the UK

I got my first visa on 5th of July 2007 and I came into UK on 25 August 2007.

When am I eligible for applying 10 Years Long residence SET(LR) application.

what do you suggest the fastest way to get ILR sorted.

Even if I go to PSC and vary my extension application, wouldn't I still get my result faster then by post.

Applying under entrepreneur visa is not the problem. They were assuming that I have overstayed and didn't have any legal rights to work. So I think they should have mentioned their concerns earlier and I would've organised everything sooner
