Qs about VAF4A & Appendix 2

Hello… We’re about to apply for a spouse visa. There are many questions in VAF4A as well as Appendix #2 that are unclear even after reading the guidelines. Presently we have downloaded the files, printed them and are attempting to fill them up but we are not completely sure whether the real online do ...

Re: Moving from Israel to England - need help

Several good years ago I applied for a student visa and didn't get it for a few reasons: First, I was very very naive to the amount of proof they wanted in writing and so I didn't include enough proof but also the guy who checked it couldn't find a record that the place existed because it wasn't ...

Re: Moving from Israel to England - need help

Regarding copies... Should all copies be certified by a lawyer? If so, how many copies from each document should we include and which of them need to be copied? We understand that we need to have a copy of her passport but what else must be included as a certified copy and have extra copies as well ...

Re: Moving from Israel to England - need help

Thank you for replying. I did the Pearson test which from what I can see now is not accepted after April which means that I'll have to take a second test somewhere else! I can't say I'm any less confused as to what happened when I apply online because it seems that I need to have my biometrics taken ...

Moving from Israel to England - need help

As much as I’d like to keep this short I have to explain a few things and I’m hoping people with experience will be nice enough to read it and help. I’m Israeli. I’m married to my wife for over a year (been together for over six years) and we are looking to move and settle in the UK. My wife is Briti ...

Re: Pre-visa, how long between visits ?

I'm sorry but this is still confusing.
When does this 12 month period starts?
We constantly see each other, there is no time where we don't see each other for 12 months so you can point the finger and say this is where we should calculate from.

Pre-visa, how long between visits ?

My husband and I are applying for a spouse visa in six months so that he can come and live here with me in England (He is Israeli) As an Israeli he can be in England for 6 months but we are not sure how long he has to be out of the UK between visits. We’ve tried to call the Israeli embassy a few t ...

Re: We know nothing and we need help =]

First, I would like to thank you for replying! You have no idea how much we appreciate it and it really does help a great deal! Thank you so much. Further questions… Q17, Excuse my ignorance but what exactly is a ‘legally certified document’ and what does it entail? Q18, With regards to my wife’s pas ...

Re: We know nothing and we need help =]

Re, my current status... at the moment I'm visiting in England but will go back to Israel in three weeks. Like I said, at the moment I live in Israel and my wife lives in England. We had a meeting with an immigration adviser and I'd like to run what we learned through the forum to make sure it's all ...

Re: We know nothing and we need help =]

Thanks for replying.
No, she does not. Yet.

What are the ramifications?
Does she need to earn that much for a certain amount of time before we can start the process?

Just wondering, what would make a good amount of savings that they would accept instead of the annual income of 18,600 ?

We know nothing and we need help =]

Morning… I wasn’t sure where to post this so hopefully I got it right. Not sure where to begin! I’m an Israeli from Israel while my wife is British and living in London. Our plan was to move to Israel because I was starting a business there and it seemed to make more sense because of that. Lately, wi ...
