Countersign Passport Application

I am a bit puzzled to who counts as a close family member

Can my uncle's mother-in-law (The mum of my uncle's wife) be someone to countersign my passport application.

I feel she is a bit distant not as close as my uncle for instance or my cousin

she is a barrister

please let me know

Disclosure of Simple Caution (5 years old) in British Citizenship Application

I had a simple caution back in 2013, it's about 5 years ago.

Should I disclose it in my application?

Thanks

Re: ILR Qualifying Period

My very first trip to the UK using the above visa was 08-08-2017 Did you mean 08-08-2007? Assuming you meet all other (especially absence and continuity of residence) requirements of ILR(LR), the earliest would be 28 days before 08-08-2017. Sorry I meant 08-08-2007! Referring to this link to https ...

Re: Please help - PSW - Tier 2

if you don't know some of the passport information asked for leave it blank on the application form and enclose a letter explaining why (passport with HO). It is always a good idea to keep a copy of a passport in case it is lost or stolen or if you have to send it anywhere. Once the 10 working day ...

Re: Please help - PSW - Tier 2

Once your sponsor has COS put in an immediate new application. You are not an overstayer as you are still within your appeal period and still within the 28 days grace period after visa expiry. Whatever way you cut it you are not an overstayer. Good luck Thank you very much again! Just so you know ...

Re: Please help - PSW - Tier 2

Am I overstayer after a refusal with right to appeal?

Hi Guys,

My current stay has been expired when I received the letter of refusal with the right to appeal.

Do I need to mention in the new application that I have overstayed from the date of expiry?

Many thanks

One question - Do I need to wait for my passports to arrive OR just proceed with a fresh application? I need to mention in the application that the passports are currently with the Home Office?

Many thanks
