Thanks Vinny for prompt response. Sadly looks like his son would not be granted entry clearance without both BC parents settling in UK.

Documents looks OK. Did your employer reference use paper with company name on the head? It would be safer if you have bank statement or tax documents.

Thanks First2last4. But I got different reply said they are unrelated valid documents. The WP extension documents dont cross out HSMP approval simply because they are not visa extensions. The new visa will always supercede old visa, but approval document dosent.
Hope someone give me a sure answer.

I got HSMP approval this week. Thanks everyone so much in the board. My time line is:
Doc Sent: 24 Jul 2006, in country
Credit card charged: 26 Jul
Reference Num got on 16 Aug via email
apploval: 23 Aug
Doc returned: 28 Aug.
I'm looking forward to having more members to share my happiness.

Transfer visa to a new passport

Dear friends, I'm going to transfer my current WP visa to a new passport using form TOC. Since my wife is dependant on me, Should she update something(eg. change a new stamp) when my passport changes?

I noticed I can include dependant in my TOC application, is it used for this purpose?

I have 2 passports because I found the previous one, which had been thought lost, after I apply a new one. So I still use old passport and keep new one empty.

My application time table is : Application sent: Jul 24 2006 (in country) CC: Jul 26 (so quick) Reference No: Not yet till now Just waiting..... I'm thinking of the EC although don't know when the approval letter arrive ...
