Re: Applicants employment qualifies. Does partners employment need including

My post seems to have been merged with a much older one - so just waiving hoping someone picks this up as new, not as already having 4 answers! Our same date day is looming.

Applicants employment qualifies. Does partners employment need including

TWO parts, 1: on employment/financials. 2: on same-day applications. My wife is applying for ILR as my married partner, as we've done throughout the 5 years. She now earns £19,800 gross, which is enough. She has 6 months of payslips, 6 months of our joint bank account showing pay going in, a letter ...

I've just read through those fascinating 59 pages of the ILR application and a few small questions popped up. Is anyone kind enough to clarify? Context: My wife is Canadian, married since 2009. Entered UK on spouse visa 5 year route Dec 2012. Our son was born in England 4 years ago, is a UK national ...

Re: FLR(M) - Canadian Wife renewing at 2.5 year mark

You only need to show income of £18,600. The dependent child scenario is if they are also on a visa status, i.e. not British. Are you 100% sure on the dependent child thing? I've just read this article on the bbc posted today about a family seemingly similar to ours: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk- ...

Re: FLR(M) - Canadian Wife renewing at 2.5 year mark

Thanks for your (very quick) reply. That's certainly good news on the financial side of things. When you say shortly before do you mean 1 month before, 2 months before? I don't know exactly when it expires, is it from activation date? I also don't know their turnaround time (slow I imagine from news ...

FLR(M) - Canadian Wife renewing at 2.5 year mark

Hi all, My (Canadian) wife applied for her spouse visa and received it in late Nov 2012, activated at East Mids airport 20th Dec 2012. We understand the visa was valid for 30 months (2 years and 6 months). Based on these dates: 1). When should we apply for the FLR(M)? In June 2013 our son was born ...
