You did say he is from Northern Ireland. If he was born in Northern Ireland he is also eligible for Irish Citizenship.Maybe a solid option would be to have him apply for his Irish citizenship you can then make an application as the spouse of an Eire National. Hi Guys After much reading, phone calls and looking into this matter, anyone claiming Settlement who was given DL after a failed Asylum should use Form FLR(DL) and not SET (O). SET (O) is only for people claiming Settlement and WERE NOT REUSED ASYLUM ...... FLR (O) is for Settlement IF YOUR ASYLUM ...

@fjones Are you sure if you have failed asylum and get DL for 3 yrs you will be allowed to go back to your home country. I remember my lawyer when i received my first DL she says i was not allowed to travel back to my home country even on the papers they stated that you are not allowed to travel ...
