Re: PostGraduate Loan after ror

What does article 24(2) state? What I have been told is that if I cease to be a family member of an EU national, thn I would not be classed as a home student. Also , if I was getting any student finance, I would have to return it immediately upon the termination of my relationship with the EU family ...

Re: PostGraduate Loan after ror

Non-EEA Citizens on RoR must be either working or be self-sufficient . I would not suggest this as the best time to take time off for studies. Cheers. But that does not answer the question. I am working and will continue to work and planning to do a part-time masters. You are correct though, maybe ...

PostGraduate Loan after ror

Hi,
Just been informed that I am not eligible for postgraduate study loan on account of me not being married to my ex-eu partner anymore and me being a non-eu citizen myself.

I do have a brp based on ror.

Would be thankful if someone can verify if this information is correct.

Thanks.

Travelling with a month left on eea residence card

Hi, My eea residence card expires in two months exactly. Still marrried, eu wife exercising treaty rights. If i were to travel next month by myself, by then only a month remaining on my current RC before we apply to further it whichever way, is there a likelihood there might be some issues at the ...

Re: Extant leave to remain?

Aha.
Cheers.
My residence during the qualifying time....as per the EEA time so as to speak.... was as a EU dependant spouse.
So I didnt have any right to reside on my own. Does that invalidate it then or Am i alright?

Thanks

Re: Extant leave to remain?

Ah ok thanks. Well she worked full time from 2010 till 2013. So my imaginary timeline is as follows 2002 - 2004 - Valid leave to remain 2005 - 2010 - Extant leave to remain 2010 - 2012 - Eea dependant with proof of treaty rights as she was in full time employment. Is this a suitable option by any ...

Re: Extant leave to remain?

Oh ok. Thanks. Ive sent in a sar request so that will hopefully clarify it as well. Application was pending since 2005. In 2010 the coa letter said I had extant leave to remain, I am on residence card from 2010 till 2015...does that make me eligible to apply for pr on ten years basis? Thanks a lot.

Re: How to proceed with refusal of Permanent Residence app?

Hey, I am just another member trying to get advise about my case here but from what I know, your current status continues regardless of the PR Refusal. That's just a document certifying ..well permenant residence! As long as the EU partner is exercising treaty right, its all good. I am sure someone ...

EEA4 Self sufficient.

Hey, Would really appreciate some input. EU national - self sufficient - 2008-2009 worker - 2010-2013 I've spoken to the UKBA EU HELPLINE three times now and with three different advisers. All of them have told me that the requirement for CSI shouldn't invalidate our application i.e. E.U national ...

Re: EEA4 CSI advice needed please.

Hey I was hoping someone can clarify this. I have spoken to UKBA EU Helpline.....very helpful I must add.....who informed me that since the CSI requirement came into being in 2011, we might be eligible for being self sufficient if she was not working throughout. Now, for 2008-2010, I had a mortgaged ...

Hey.Thanks for all your advice. We have got the insurance now. And she is looking for work. Re: EEA4 CSI advice needed please.

Unfortunately Yes I don't . I was just hoping that since it states on the form that one can send in a valid ehic card as a proof..there might be some window but oh well....i'll send it in anyways and see what happens. Moreover, since my residence permit runs out in October , is there a possibility ...

Re: EEA4 CSI advice needed please.

Boo. Thanks for your reply. I thought the same . Obviously we dont cover the requirements but i'm just hoping we can figure out a way to cover the missing bits. The eea4 form lists this as evidence for self sufficiency: Study or self-sufficiency (comprehensive sickness insurance) Schedule or other ...

Hey. I am a non-EU national looking to apply for permanent residence as our five years were up in march 2015. My residence card runs out in October. My wife- the EU national....was working from 2010 to 2013 and has been self sufficient since . I have been in employment throughout. Now looking at the ...
