Re: National insurance deductions for Tier 2

All workers have to pay NI contributions, it is a legal/tax requirement. No way to get around this unfortunately. Got it :) my next question is about..what happens next after it is paid? Is there a way to receive it back when moving out of the UK? or is it gone forever? I apologize if this not a ...

What do you mean, you want something for nothing? No, I'd like to understand the pension and tax implications of moving abroad. There ...

Moving to UK - how much to bring

Hi there, I am moving to the UK - not sure how much to bring. It says that there is a cap of 390 GBP - https://www.gov.uk/duty-free-goods/arrivals-from-outside-the-eu And duties must be paid for items that go over this amount, however - my laptop alone is more than this so does this mean I will have ...

Tier 2, Tier 4, and Tier 5 applications at the same time.

Hi all, This is probably a silly question but I am unable to find the answer. Can I apply for Tier 2 through my employer (rcos) and apply for the Tier 4, and maybe the Tier 5 as well all at the same time and decide later? This is because I am unsure whether the Tier 2 will actually go through in ...
