Re: Limited company liquidation and obtaining Citizenship

Been in touch with a solicitor. I can't afford the fees they are asking but basically I need to prove, that the BB Loan was used for subcontractors to keep the company alive and not spent on anything personal, that there was no negligence on my side and that the money in and out can prove that the ...

Re: Limited company liquidation and obtaining Citizenship

Then you should be fine. Explain all these circumstances and attach documents to prove your story and you should be OK. Well that's what I think too but I want a definite all clear hence I am in touch with a solicitor. It's a bit too risky and too expensive to assume that I should be alright ...

Re: Limited company liquidation and obtaining Citizenship

I think it boils down to how the process went and if the HO thinks you were reckless with the company's finances. Many companies closed down in COVD times through no fault of their own, just because of the economy being bad. Have you received a disqualification order? No. I had a liquidation ...

Yes. It’s a shame there is no update on this but I am determined to solve it a ...

Just check the users' posts. they report applying for British passports or something along the lines that indicate their application was successful. As you only posted a few times I don't think you are able to send DMs.

Re: Limited company liquidation and obtaining Citizenship

It is a relatively uncommon scenario. Was the liquidation no fault of your own? Or is there anything in your circumstances that may point to reckless behaviour on your part? Review the following threads for similar circumstances https://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?p=1841978&hilit ...

Limited company liquidation and obtaining Citizenship

Hi everyone, I wonder if anyone had a similar situation to mine. I had a company that went into liquidation and as of last month it doesn't exist anymore. It was managed by an insolvency practitioner. The company basically didn't survive covid times. I had a covid government grant (no personal ...

Re: Unsuccessful applications

The documents you provided for your Naturlisation back in days covering 6 year period of exercising treaty rights , you should have sent that even online and if successful you would have strong case to appeal , according to this if it says 11 March 2019, you will have to wait another year till 11 ...

Re: Unsuccessful applications

When you receive the documents back with document certifying permanent residence , you should have received a letter from the home office which state when you acquired permanent residence status, what is the date on the letter ? 12th of March. I’ve done it online but that is not the case. We have a ...
