Hi Mohamad,

Did you mean post graduate visa? There are companies that are accepting international students.

Re: Advise Needed Please - ILR application Mistake

Also, one more question, will having different signatures cause an issue? ie Signature used when biometrics submitted and signature used when signed electronically? As I have been working from home, I signed most docs electronically as I did not have a printer and scanner.

Re: Advise Needed Please - ILR application Mistake

Hi All, I have recently applied for ILR and have done my biometrics. However, I suddenly realised that I forgot to include a recent US visa application (which was put under Admin Processing, now called Refusal until further documents are provided. This is completely an honest mistake and I even ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

When applications come in, I think they allocate them to case workers. So I guess how an application progresses really depends on the case worker. If UKVI have approached each case on the basis of the date submitted and there was only one queue for each category, there should not be cases that late ...

Re: Please Help: Tier 2 Change of Employment and Curtailment

Thanks for your reply. Yes, my old BRP was not returned to me from UKVI and I can see that my new BRP is valid from 4th September. So in this case, I can travel and come back anytime, even if I am not in an employment, without any problem right?

Re: Please Help: Tier 2 Change of Employment and Curtailment

Yes, it is valid. My concern at the moment is, I initially planned a trip from 25th September to 10 the October. So I will leave the UK. However, when i return, the border officer may ask "for which company I am working" and by that time I will be unemployed. So border officer may not allow me to ...

Re: Please Help: Tier 2 Change of Employment and Curtailment

Hi CR001,

Thanks for your reply.

Does this mean that, during the employment gap that stated in the post, I can travel outside the UK anytime and come back, even if I am not working for any employer?

Thanks

Re: Please Help: Tier 2 Change of Employment and Curtailment

Hi iworker, Thanks for your reply. But I still need a little bit of clarification, since I could not find any policy saying that I can leave and come back anytime. All I can make sure now is, my Visa will lapse once I leave the UK and 12 months cooling off period will start. Assume that border ...

Please Help: Tier 2 Change of Employment and Curtailment

Dear Board Members, I am currently working for a company which sponsored my Tier 2 General visa and it has been 1 year. Not long ago, I managed to receive an offer from a new employer which issued me a new CoS letter and I obtained my new BRP (tier2 general) from them yesterday. However, my start ...

Re: Please Advise me on cool off period!

And another important question. I realised that the only option to apply for Tier 4 visa within the country is extending a Tier 4 visa or switching from Tier 2 visa. I am currently holding Tier 2 visa. If I resign before I apply for my Tier 4 visa and stay in the UK before I submit my Tier 4 visa ...

Re: Please Advise me on cool off period!

Hi CR001, Thank you very much for your reply and sorry for the confusion. Yes, it was regarding the cooling off period for future Tier2 application. In this case, for example, if I apply for my Tier 4 visa in June and granted a visa in July which will be valid from September (let's say same date as ...

Please Advise me on cool off period!

Dear All, I am currently working in the UK on Tier 2 general work visa which will expire next year September. However, recently I have received an offer from one of the top Universities in the UK which I would like to go for. I understand that I have to switch from Tier2 visa to Tier 4 visa, which I ...

About Tier2 visa continues Period. Urgent, Please Help!

Dear All, I have been in the UK since Last year November on Tier2 general work visa. However, my employment was terminated on 31 March 2016. Up until now I have not received the curtailment letter from UKVI. I found a new employer during this period and considering many other issues ,including RMLT ...

Re: Tier2 changing employer (Please Help)

Things to consider The new salary must meet the SOC requirements so has to be no less that the new enterant rate for the job. You can only qualify for new enterant upto three years and one month. Any visa application that extents your stay beyond that has to have experienced salary. So in this case ...

Tier2 changing employer (Please Help)

Hi all, I have been on Tier2 visa for 7 months as a new entrant. My current salary is £29K. But I am interested in another entry level position in other company. Re: Tier 2 sponsorship curtailment & Tier2 to Tier2 applicat

Thank you for your advice.

However, if the UKVI send us the letter, do they notify us with an email or something at the same time? Otherwise how do we both make sure that I received the letter?

Thanks

Tier 2 sponsorship curtailment & Tier2 to Tier2 application

Dear all, First a little information about me. My employer sponsored me last year and I started working for them from November 2015 with Tier2 Visa. I applied Tier 2 visa from outside the UK/EU. After five months, that's to say in March 2016, my company decided to redundant me and my employment was ...
