I wanted to check if it’s acceptable to send all the supporting documents together in a single envelope, mentioning all three PEX numbers on the outside, or if each ...

Re: Citizenship Eligibilty for Kids born abroad (with ILR and Father BC)

The expired passport is not an issue - explain as you did for the ILR application (just note nationality applications are not immigration). Thank you alterhase58 , appreciate it. I'll explain the expired passports in the same way. Also since they have given biometrics just last week for ILR (I plan ...

Re: ECCTIS Letter degree certificate in both English and Native Language

Your absence period calculations are wrong. That is NOT how rolling calculations work. You cannot have more than 180 days of absences in ANY 365-day period. There is no year 1, year 2, etc Hi Zimba thanks for your reply. I get it now, its basically a 180 day absence in any 365 day period between ...

Re: ECCTIS Letter degree certificate in both English and Native Language

Are they on skilled worker dependent visas?? If yes, your spouse cannot have more than 180 days absence in ANY 12 month rolling period. It would make her ineligible for ilr. Hi CR001, yes they are on SW dependent. But since we can apply 28 days before we are eligible , she will be eligible on 17th ...

Thanks Siva, that's very reassuring.

I just need 1 year validity for my kids to be eligible for BC. So 2 years is not a dealbreaker

Hi, I submitted my kids applications in July. I rec'd their Passports this week. It took around 4 weeks to process them. The validity of the passports is 2 years only(instead of the usual 5 years). No explanation was given. Has anyone else also submitted their children's Passport for renewal? Is so ...
