Do i need to apply for the PR or i just need to provide 5 P60 or P45 which can prove that i am excertising my treaty right for continuosly 5 years.

I an an EEA member (Greece) and my wife is Japanese. We both entered in the UK in 2008 and since then i am exorcizing my treaty rights (between 2008 - 2011 i was self employed).
Our son born in 2011 and i want to ask if we can apply for a British citizenship (for my son)
