@i2kshashi, you should first contact to your company finance team and ask them whats your total package (salary + benefit ..etc) otherwise no one can suggest better than your employer. whats your P11D statement says? @sunny_sunny, don't comment unnecessary, we are calming point for Income ,not necessary you suppose to pay tax for that income...I declared 57K on my extension and I paid tax for 47K as i put 10K on pension account...I still claimed point for 57K as I earned that money and I got approved too ...

what was your amount before amendment ? whats your threshold income? were you above threshold before amendment? Hi everyone,
I am in same situation. My tax difference is 1.6K but i am still above threshold 35K. I had 1.6K expence on last month. I checked on forum, most of people do amend on tax bcz they dont reach to threshold. I have not even amended tax as it was genuine earning and expence too.

Yes,we filled in self assessment , 35.5K after adding expence of 1.6K ,paied on time 31 Jan 2012.
